Modern Slavery Policy
Aquasila Pty Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We recognise the importance of addressing the risks of modern slavery and are committed to taking reasonable steps to ensure that such practices do not occur within our operations or supply chains.
As a small Australian consulting company with fewer than five employees, our core activities include IT strategy advisory, project management and digital consulting services. While we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct workforce to be low, we acknowledge that potential risks may exist in our supply chain, particularly in relation to third-party providers, software and hardware suppliers, and outsourced services.
Although we are not required to report under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), we voluntarily align our practices with its intent. We seek to work with reputable suppliers and service providers who operate lawfully, uphold fair labour standards, and share our commitment to ethical business practices. Where appropriate, we consider publicly available information about suppliers’ policies and avoid engaging with organisations where there are reasonable concerns about modern slavery.
We expect our suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable workplace laws and to take steps to prevent exploitation, including forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour. We also encourage transparency and cooperation in addressing any identified risks.
All employees and contractors are expected to act in accordance with this policy and to raise any concerns regarding potential modern slavery risks. Any concerns reported will be treated seriously and handled confidentially.
We are committed to continuous improvement and will review this statement periodically to ensure it remains appropriate to the size and nature of our business.
